Dr. Ambrosie
Position: Meet Our New LCVC Owner / Veterinarian
As a longtime client of Lake Country, and a Skaneateles native, Dr. Allison Ambrosie is extremely proud to return to her hometown and serve the families of the community in which she grew up by helping to care for their pets. Dr. Ambrosie completed her Bachelor’s at the University of Connecticut and her Masters at Syracuse University before beginning her veterinary studies at Ross University in 2013. After completing her coursework at Ross, Dr. Ambrosie spent a year in a clinical rotation at Cornell University. Upon completing her DVM, Dr. Ambrosie came back home to Skaneateles and, in 2017, began her career at Lake Country Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian.
Dr. Ambrosie graduated from Skaneateles in 1998, and now when she’s not at the clinic, you can find her cheering for her son Frankie on the football or baseball field as he plays for the Lakers. Most of her free time is either spent with family who still live in the area, fishing, gardening, or relaxing at home with her son and their rescue dog, Twix, and two rescue cats Mickey and Beverly.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, and is Fear-Free certified.
Outside of work, Dr. Tetlow enjoys yoga, thrifting, being outdoors, and the occasional salsa dancing. She has two cats: sweet, spoiled Delilah, from the shelter Dr. Tetlow volunteered a while in college, and spunky Goliath, from a trip to Tanzania.

Practice Manager
Gabriella Kress
Position: LVT/Practice Manager
Started: October 2016
Gabbie started at Lake Country in the fall of 2016 after graduating from SUNY Delhi in May of the same year. Gabbie commutes from Cortland, a drive she is happy to make because she loves the clients and the community atmosphere that Lake Country offers. When the practice went through an ownership change in 2021, Gabbie was a part of transitioning the clinic from the previous owner to the new one. After the purchase, Gabbie was given the opportunity to step into the practice manager role at the clinic, an offer she could not refuse. Gabbie hopes to bring about positive changes at Lake Country while maintaining the friendly atmosphere and quality care that our clinic is known for. When she’s not helping take care of patients, Gabbie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats that were rescued from LCVC. She also enjoys using her Cricut and making crafts.

Sarah Hull
Position: LVT
Started: 2019
Sarah started with us at Lake Country in 2019. Much like Julie, Sarah came to us for an internship as part of her college curriculum. After her internship, Sarah offered to continue at Lake Country and worked during her college breaks. In the height of the 2020 COVID pandemic, she was an education survivor, being sent home for her last college semester and having to complete her coursework online. Sarah came on full-time as an assistant while waiting to take her licensing exam, and in March of 2021, she became a licensed vet tech! When she’s not hard at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her dog, Honey, who she rescued from the shelter while she was in tech school. Sarah also enjoys reading and hiking with her friends.
